Profile of the specialty:
Master`s degree programme in Circular Economy offers specialized training on
topical problems of efficient resource management, including waste management
and environmental protection in accordance with international, European and
national criteria and requirements.
ОThe training of the students in the master`s degree programme in Circular Economy
is conducted in accordance with the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation
System (ECTS), which enables mobility of students and lecturers, implementation of
placements and internships (including in the EU institutions) , participation in master
classes, conferences, roundtable discussions, etc.
The training is conducted according to a syllabus developed and approved by the
Department of Informatics and Economics, Faculty of International Administration
and Economics.
The syllabus includes master classes with the participation of foreign scientists and
practitioners. Interactive training methods, which include multimedia presentation of
lectures, discussions, teamwork, business and role games, case studies, etc., are
mostly used.
The master`s degree programme is intended for the preparation and training of
students, managers and experts with professional interests in the field of ecology
and funding of sustainable development and environmental protection projects. For
this purpose, the syllabus of the specialty includes fundamental and specialized
courses, which develop the knowledge and skills of the students in the field of
ecology and sustainable development, circular economy and project management.
The education is a solid foundation for successful implementation in the
administration, national, European and other international institutions.
The graduates with a master`s degree received in the master`s degree programme in
Circular Economy can work as managers and specialists in the state and local
administration, international and national financial organizations, as well as in
manufacturing and trading companies with international activities. The programme
offers a broad profile of the knowledge and skills relevant to the modern European
Union activities at a macro and micro level.
The aim of the training is to provide students with the necessary volume of
interdisciplinary theoretical knowledge and practical skills for successful work in
public administration, business organizations and international institutions. As a
result of the training, the students should acquire and demonstrate specific
knowledge and skills for: sustainable development, structure of materials and
management of their use, international financial institutions, international trade and
EU financing, analysis and evaluation of sustainable enterprises with international
activity, schemes for financing international projects, international finance and
financial reporting standards, forms and methods of payment in international
business.
